“[A] cheeky, comical, daring and delicious read that forces readers to accept not just other races’ weird and wacky cultures, but also their own. And by the last page, while drying the tears of laughter from your face, you realise: we may all be crazy but at least we’re all South African.”
“The side-splitting humour of Simon Kilpatrick with his precise analysis of our Rainbow Nation leaves you with tears rolling down your cheeks as you visualise each character in true form.”
– The Weekend News
“Gentle and surprisingly funny, The Racist’s Guide is unlikely to ruffle feathers of any but the most gratuitously sensitive –and its elegantly old-fashioned brand of wit is suitable for all ages.”
– Sunday Times

ABOUT THE BOOK
Finally, what the world’s been waiting for (maybe): a comprehensive whinger’s guide that catalogues the overwhelming kakness of our times. Is it comprehensive? Not really. Is it a guide? Kind of. Is it kak? Completely!
For those who loved South Africa’s original Is It Just Me Or Is Everything Kak? books of 2007 and 2008, Complete Kak! was the expanded bumper conclusion of the series, released in 2009. In it the authors collated their greatest hits from the original two books (Afrikaans music, dual-flush, idiots…), and added a cartload of brand-new aggravations to the list (Twitter, Cope, the BMW X6…).
This ebook edition was re-released in June 2016 as a companion book for the brand-new Is It Just Me Or Is Everything Kak? The Zuma Years (Two Dogs, 2016) – because, while there’s always new kak to deal with (hence the new book), some kak never changes…
