David Buckham is the founder and CEO of Monocle, a management consulting firm specialising in banking and insurance. He has diverse experience within the banking and financial markets space, having guided regulatory implementation in banks around the world for two decades. He worked in Iceland, Denmark, Luxembourg, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Africa and the UK leading up to and during the Global Financial Crisis. 

He holds a Master’s degree in English literature and is the co-author of The End of Money (2021) and The Age of Menace (2022).
